What this site does to stay usable by everyone, how it is tested, and what to do if you hit a barrier.

This page was prepared for Applied AI Systems as a researched starting point and is pending review by the firm's founders. It describes how this website actually works. It is not legal advice.
The standard we hold this site to
WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We build interfaces for a living, so a site that failed its own standard would be an odd advertisement.
This page exists because we can point at how it is tested, not because a statement is required. A statement on its own guarantees nothing.
How it is tested
- Automated accessibility checks run against every route on this site, in both the light and the dark theme, as part of the test suite. A change that introduces a detectable violation fails before it ships.
- Colour is chosen against computed contrast ratios rather than by eye, and every value in the palette carries its measured ratio in the source.
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, and focus is always visible.
- Motion respects your system's reduced-motion setting. Where a page animates, turning that setting on gives you the finished picture rather than a blank space.
- The site works without JavaScript for navigation: every destination is a real link in the header and the footer.
What we know is imperfect
Automated testing catches a portion of accessibility problems, not all of them. It cannot judge whether a description is useful, whether a reading order makes sense, or whether an animation is uncomfortable to watch. We review those by hand, and hand review misses things.
This site also carries several animated scenes. They are decorative, they are all reachable in a settled state, and none of them hides information that is not also written down. If any of them is a problem for you, we would like to know.
If something is not working for you
Tell us through the contact page and describe what you hit and what you were using. We will fix it, and we will tell you when it is fixed. We do not treat this as a complaints process.
